RAFT’s annual fundraising dinner celebrates and supports educators! This year, RAFT and Intel's Allison Goodman explore how RAFT is shifting gears to add new services and strategies for educators, including makerspaces and other student-centered tools. Help RAFT support teachers in unleashing the potential in all students, inspiring them to become agents of their own learning.
Allison Goodman, a Principal Engineer and Lead Firmware Architect at Intel, is known for her creativity and innovation in leading high-performance teams. She is passionate about makerspace education and bringing critical STEAM-based learning to students, especially young women. She says, “I just love talking to kids about engineering and science - I love to give them the gift of knowing how something works.” Allison sits on the board of Sacramento's Hacker Lab and is committed to promoting engineering among aspiring students and professionals.
Join us for an evening of good food, networking, and our always-exciting design challenge. You’ll see for yourself how tinkering and making inspire collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving. And, of course, create a whole lot of fun!
RAFT’s dinner benefits educators and students in Silicon Valley and beyond.
